The Importance of Not Letting Your Guards Down

I understand most people’s excitement with a day left of 2020 being over, however, I do want to make sure you understand you are just entering another day that happens to have a year attached to it. 2020 was challenging for many, whether you were affected greatly or just a little, something was happening every single month. I wholeheartedly believe 2020 was a wake-up call for many and a test, unfortunately, there is more to come, so itโ€™s important not to let your guards down just because a year is changing. For believers no matter what we must continue to work on our spiritual life and prepare for the Messiah coming, and prepare your own life to meet with God when that time should come, that is our main purpose in life. God may allow you to accomplish things on earth, but as believers, we are called to serve and worship God only. We donโ€™t have the luxury of playing around with our lives spiritually. In any case, itโ€™s important not to think โ€œthings will go back to normal,โ€ itโ€™s important not to be nonchalant about what is going on around you, itโ€™s important not to waste time, and itโ€™s vital not to be discouraged, lose faith, hope or love. I canโ€™t tell you step by step of everything that may take place on this earth, but itโ€™s obvious we are not in a good position no matter what country you live in. Itโ€™s time for us to look at things seriously. Many people are completely blind to what is really happening around them, and you have to be careful to not be caught up with their blindness. Many people have hope in the wrong things, and these things are mainly the things of this world, their hope is not in God, and as believers, we cannot afford to follow that route. Understand and accept that things will not be going back to โ€œnormalโ€ as we can see the world is already planning and preparing for a โ€œNew Worldโ€, a โ€œNew Order.โ€ Things are going to be more โ€œconvenient,โ€ with more technology and artificial intelligence, this would make it easier to control many all at once while making you “feel” and “think” is a better way of living but it may not be the best choice, because essentially will have to give up some of your privacy and personal information for this convenience and more “easy life”. Many people will blindly accept and celebrate this โ€œNew World Orderโ€ not realizing they are giving up their souls, rights, privacy, and freedom. Unfortunately, there is no way to prevent this from happening, no matter how many try to โ€œfightโ€ back, and complain about it. It’s not about fighting back but how are you going to maneuver when the time comes. As a believer, this is the time to exercise wisdom and discernment, stop participating in things that move you closer to this โ€œNew World Order.โ€ Here are a few tips on how you can do that:

Learn to Withstand Hard Times

The reason why many wonโ€™t fight back is because of their dependence on the โ€œsystem.โ€ Stop looking for everything to be quick and easy. Learn to be more self-sufficient and independent. That is where they get many people, especially with these โ€œApps.โ€ Because we can get just about anything with a stroke of our fingers, the minute challenges come, people have a โ€œbreakdown.โ€ Understand times will get difficult, the grid may go down, you might not access to light, the internet, there may be a food shortage, so learn to grow your own, we may have another shutdown. Learn to live without certain things. Learn to make things. Learn to prep. Whether it is happening to you or to others around you, learn to withstand and encourage those who are down. If you are the type of person, everything has to be โ€œpeachyโ€ โ€œpeachyโ€ you are living in the wrong times. Wake up- things will be challenging, stop taking the most convenient road while selling your soul, โ€œBlessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him, โ€œ James 1:12

Learn to Use Wisdom & Discernment

I like to say itโ€™s good to be smart but itโ€™s better to be wise. Wisdom and discernment will allow you to know the difference between what โ€œlooks goodโ€ and what โ€is good.โ€ I found it weird hearing people that are so happy to take a vaccine thinking they are going to be โ€œprotectedโ€ yet they are alive and been living without the vaccine for months, I truly couldnโ€™t understand this type of thinking, one of those moments that makes you say, hmm. However, many people often fall for what โ€œlooks goodโ€ and not discern whether itโ€™s actually good for them. They do whatever and take whatever is given to them without any consideration. When you are using wisdom, and discernment you must examine the good, the bad, the whyโ€™s, and the howโ€™s. For believers, we must also examine the spiritual implications. โ€œBlessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding, for the gain from her is better than gain from silver and her profit better than gold. She is more precious than jewels, and nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her; those who hold her fast are called blessed. The Lord by wisdom founded the earth; by understanding, he established the heavens; by his knowledge, the deeps broke open, and the clouds drop down the dew. My son, do not lose sight of theseโ€” keep sound wisdom and discretion, and they will be life for your soul and adornment for your neck. Then you will walk on your way securely, and your foot will not stumble,โ€ Proverbs 3:13-23

Stop Participating

Iโ€™m not saying in order to not participate you have to go live off the grid. I learn little ways to just stay away from all the foolery. Learn to say no, learn to not feel like you are โ€œmissingโ€ out because โ€œeveryone is doing it.โ€ Learn to be in control of your own life rather than being dictated by what others do, or want you to do, or what others say. I believe everyone has their own destiny to follow, learn to be okay with the destiny God has already planned out for you, you donโ€™t have to do what everyone is doing. You donโ€™t have to be on every social media outlet, putting all your personal information on them, as well as your children, those are all tracking devices. Social media will be one of the tools used against you and draw you closer to the โ€œNew World.โ€ Itโ€™s convenient, most people are addicted to it, and most people wonโ€™t give it up. That is why I encourage those who want to draw closer to God to have โ€œoff daysโ€, take days, or a day where you are not online at all. Trust me, you will be fine! Learn to take the โ€œroad less traveled.โ€ Being part of the herd will only get your slaughter. โ€œ Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value], โ€ Colossians 3:2 (AMP)

I hope you are encouraged and understand you don’t have to follow the crowd or whatever agenda is being pushed to you, you can choose. As a believer, I have no choice but to choose God’s side because for years he has kept me, love me, and protected me. I still have faith, hope, and love because he has given me these things and showed me the world is not my place of security, but in his hands. I pray God be with you, God protect you because God does love you.
