The Dangers of Trusting in a False Foundation

With all that is going on in the world, I can’t help but see there is a spiritual cause and a spiritual solution. I’m still astonished the amount of trust people still have in others, things, and in this system, rather than God. Many still do not understand that God is in control, he created us and he will have the last word. So many put their trust in the government, corporations, false prophets, false hope, false joy, with celebrities, with people, and ignore God or even reject God, but guess what Hosea 4: 6 tells us “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” If we continue to ignore God or reject him, he will do the same. I know many feel God has been silent but maybe his silent with you and the world for a reason. As believers we are still responsible for our spiritual life and our relationship with God, no matter what is going on in this world.

Many don’t understand that God has feelings and we see this in the first book in Genesis 6:6 “And Yahweh was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.”  We are called to live a set apart life, even when it makes no sense to others. Many of these false foundations given to us in this world are fake, false, subject to collapse and work will against you rather for you. I urge all true believers to not put your trust in the things of this world. No one is going to protect you like God can, no one. Stick with God; I promise you; you will be better off. As you can see, the world is unstable, and corrupt. Will you continue to follow the crowd or stand for God in your decisions?  Will you allow others to make and control your decisions in your spiritual walk? Are you able to walk away from what displeases God? Are you going to keep trusting in these failed systems?  “Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths,” Proverbs 3:5-6.  God can and will direct you, no matter what is going on but you have to trust him and make him and his word your foundation not these false foundations. Those who choose the word, being obedient to God’s word, God will look after you and direct you. However, if you make the decision to continue to trust in a false foundation, you will be on your own. Seek Yahweh while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto Yahweh, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon,” Isaiah 55:6-7.

Please take time to read your bible, truly get to know God and his ways, what pleases his heart. Nothing false pleases God. Stand for God,  put all your trust in GOD.

Scripture Meditation

 “ Thus says Yahweh: “Heaven is My throne, And earth is My footstool. Where is the house that you will build Me? And where is the place of My rest? For all those things My hand has made, And all those things exist,” Says Yahweh. “But on this one will I look: On him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, And who trembles at My word. Isaiah 66:1-2

 “ Therefore Yahweh says this, “Listen carefully, I am laying in Zion a Stone, a tested Stone, A precious Cornerstone for the [secure] foundation, firmly placed. He who believes [who trusts in, relies on, and adheres to that Stone] will not be disturbed or give way [in sudden panic].” Isaiah 28:16 (AMP)

“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” Matthew 7:24-27

And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16:18-19

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11

 “ Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “Yahweh knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of the Messiah depart from iniquity.” 2 Timothy 2:19

 “It is better to trust in Yahweh Than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the Yahweh. Than to put confidence in princes. Psalm 118:8-9

Yahweh is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” Psalm 18:2
