I thank God for calling me out of myself and closer to him. For me, without God I don’t believe I can have peace and joy during any day. With all that is happening it is only God that keeps me in perfect peace. When you place your trust in anything or anyone other than God, whatever or whomever you trust more than God will fail you, that is guaranteed. God warns us to not put our trust in humankind, “It’s better to take refuge in the Most High than to trust in man, Psalm 118:8.  

Believers I want you to understand you live in the world but you are not of the world, therefore, your trust, your confidence, your mind, your strength should be focused on God and not this world. Nothing is guarantee in this world, not your job, your business, your finances, but God can protect you and guide you on what direction you need to go, but you must put all your trust in him, “Trust in God with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your path straight,” Proverbs 3:5-6. Things are going to happen in this world always, people are not perfect, and the government is not perfect, even the church is not perfect, so you cannot afford to put your trust and peace in something so imperfect. 

When you find yourself upset about what is going on, ask yourself what and whom is my trust in. Is your trust secure in people? The government?  Your business? Yourself? Your money? Other people? Or do you trust God with all your heart? Because, if you trust God with all your heart than you can experience the peace that surpasses understanding. We were already warned by the Messiah in this world we will have tribulations, but he has overcome the world,  John 16:33. On God side there is peace, and  joy even in the midst of chaos. On God side there is comfort, security, love and wisdom. You have so much to gain being on God’s side. Don’t allow what you see to distract you away from God but Draw even Closer to God. There are actually more things to come, so learn from this experience, be prepared, rely on God and put all your trust in him regardless of what you see or hear.  Get on God’s side as quick as possible, time is not guarantee to you, “Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring,” Proverbs 27:1.  

If You Desire to Have the Peace that Surpasses Understanding: 

Draw Closer to God & Stay Focused on God, James 4:8 

Be Proactive, Proverbs 22:3 

Stay Prepared, Matthew 24:44 

Assist those in need, Philippians 2:4 

Listen to guidance and Wisdom, John 14:26 

Study and read your Bible, Psalm 119:105 

Pray for an understanding and revelation of what is going on and what more is to come, John 16:13 

Don’t look to your right nor your left but trust ONLY in God, Proverbs 4:25-27 

Prayer 

Thank you, Yahweh, I can trust you and no weapon formed against me shall prosper. Thank you for my peace of mind, comfort in my heart and revelation, wisdom and knowledge from above. I have nothing to fear but everything to gain when I am with you. Teach me to submit to the Holy Spirit promptings and guidance and to not look to my left nor my right but stay focus on you. Show me God where I can help others see there is peace with God. Show me how I can be a blessing to others. Lead me God on the path of righteous for all of my heart and trust is in you. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
