“But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.” Matthew 6:6
In a world full of shenanigans, believers must make a choice and find their secret place. A place where you can find peace, comfort and joy. No matter what is going on in the world you need a place to draw strength from. Whether you pick a week, a day or an hour, you need a place where you can meet with God, pray and relax. In the presence of God, you will find the peace that will surpasses all understanding, Philippians 4:6. In his presence I believe you will find the clarity that you need, the joy that you long for. When you take the time to spend with God, your atmosphere has no choice but to change for the better. You will be more spiritually conscious, and mentally healthy.
Many live their lives on the go, not stopping to think about one’s soul. So many people are agitated, not well, not happy, it’s because the soul is not being taken care of. The cares of this word is sucking the soul out of their body little by little and the word of God becomes ineffective in their lives Mark 4:19. They are now walking around with no feelings, no peace, no love, no joy but they can find restoration if they would find their secret place. A place where they can meet with God. A place they will realize this is where they belong all along, Matthew 11:28-29. May you find the courage to seek God, trust God, desire God and draw close to God. May peace be with you, may love finds you, may joy embrace you.
