It’s no secret that technology is taking over our lives in a big way. Ever forgot your phone at home and felt strange? Addicted to the many apps on your phone? Many in this generation and the one coming, won’t ever know what it feels like to not have a smart phone, or use a key to turn on a car, or park without a backup camera. Every day we are being offered a better and faster way to live, but is it really? Why the rush to live life? Time is already flying and now everything we do need to be quick and easy, according to technology. While I understand the need to progress, I don’t see the need to want everyone to live in a false reality. Many see technology as innovative, fast, creative, in the meanwhile technology has been in your private space more and more and now they want to be in your head, over your eyes, controlling your life to the point many will choose to live in a virtual world instead of reality. Trust and believe, in these virtual worlds, you will be under more control but will be in too deep to be able to turn away, and that is the plan.
Another thing to understand is not to be fool, those who are encouraging all this additional technology in your life and virtual worlds, won’t be there themselves. They will remain in the outside world, to control, monitor and own you at the end of the day. For those, who see what is going on and don’t want to be sucked in, you need to be even more alert and not be so quick to jump to the next “big thing.” Children will be the first targets; at they are very good at persuading their parents why they should have this and that. Will you be able to stand firm? Then they will use celebrities to show how cool and fun it is. I can guarantee you, all those who are sucked in, will have a difficult time getting out. As believers, we already have many things to be watchful about, we don’t want to unknowingly get suck into a fabricated life. And don’t think they won’t have something to tempt you to come into their world as well, such as using your beliefs, spirituality, the plan is already set, I’m pretty sure religion, church, even some people’s favorite pastors will be an option there.

Ephesians 6:11 tells us to “put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.” The schemes of devil will not be the obvious. Some believers may be looking for scriptures saying something about technology, virtual world, artificial intelligence, robots, etc., and will base their decision to use these things base on their inability to find these things in the bible. Of course, you are not going to find scriptures specifically naming these things. That is why it is important to spiritually grow, so you can have the spirit of discernment, to exercise wisdom, to know the difference from something that looks and sound good, but underneath it’s a trap. Life is not about what you can see or read in the physical, we are surrounded by spiritual things occurring all over. So don’t be wise in your own eyes, seek wisdom, seek discernment, Proverbs 3:7.

This desire to eliminate humanity or the use of humanity is not Godly, let’s be serious. In the beginning God gave man authority over the earth, Genesis 1:26-28, and with the advancement of technology what do man do? Man wants a robot to be perform surgery, man wants to sit on the couch and live in a virtual world, where he can be anything and do anything even when it’s a false reality. Man wants an app to unlock the door for them. Man wants a box to play music for him. Man wants a car to drive for him. (*man meaning mankind (humanity) not just specifically men) I’ve seen employees happy about the self-checkout line, because they don’t have to really “deal” with people, but I also see they won’t have a job soon either when their job gets fully automated. The machines are faster and less talkative. People are eliminating themselves and giving away power to something greater that they don’t even recognize. Little by little we were being trained and prepared for a “New World,” one in which man will lose control, and heavily dependent on machines and the “system,” and Satan and his minions will reign until the finale. You may not be able to avoid every single technology or whatever they are going to come up with in the coming years, but you can choose to stay in reality and don’t follow the crowd. Be more mindful of what you are engaging in, putting in your home, allowing your children to get sucked into. The plan was always to keep us distracted, keep us busy, keep us fearing the “real world,” and now keep many out of the real world.
So, how do you protect your mind, and spirit from this? You must renew your mind to the things of God, Romans 12:2. We were already warned in the bible to not follow the patterns of this world. I know some still don’t want to deal with God or struggle with the decision to be a believer or not, and that is your choice, but remember who gave you power and look around at who is taking it away. For me and other believers, we will stick with God. We will follow God’s will and we will answer to the calling to live a set apart life. We have a greater enemy as believers and it is not really technology but those who will use it against you soon, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour,” 1 Peter 5:8.
