Praying comes fairly easy for me and I love praying. I thank God has provided me the energy to pray for hours at a time. I know many feel that they don’t know how or what to pray. I want to encourage you and give you some prayers you can pray or even meditate on. Many of you have some decisions to make in life and what to know what direction to take. I believe in seeking God first no matter what. He is the only one with your best interest at heart and the best to direct you in your life decisions. Here are some short prayers to help.
Prayer to Stay in the Will of The God
I come to you Yahweh in complete submission and humbleness that you may direct my path. Give me the strength to not be afraid of anything and anyone in this world but to completely trust in you. Lead me on the path of righteousness. I ask for wisdom to make wise decisions in my life, career, and relationships [insert what you what wisdom about]. I pray that you guide me and be the light on my path. Help me to submit to your will and not the will of this world. Help me to not make decisions based on fear and lack of understanding. I trust you. I believe you have my best interest at heart.
Prayer for Discernment
Yahweh I come to you seeking wisdom, guidance and the spirit of discernment. Help me to discern what is not pleasing to you. Help me to clearly and quickly identify Satan’s tricks and snares. I will not lean on my own understanding but will seek you first in everything. Help me to desire your ways and your thoughts and not the ways of this world. Let every confusing revelation depart from me.
Prayer for Protection
Thank you Yahweh, for your protection and for guiding my path. Let no evil befall me. Let no evil thing or person come near me [and family]. Thank you that you have granted me Angelic protection everywhere that I go and I will dwell in your safety. Help me to listen to the Holy Spirit guidance and direction. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. Let all evil things sent in my direction return to its sender. Angels watch over me and provide a hedge of protection around me, my home, my car, [insert what you need protection] my going in and going out.
Prayer for Patience
I come to you Yahweh that you may bless me with patience to not make decisions that do not line up with your word. Help me be patient in all my decisions making. Help me patient in tribulations, challenges and unforeseeable circumstances. I trust you and know your plans for me is to give me hope and a future and not to harm me. Thank you for giving me the patient to withstand the impossible. I would not be anxious about anything but stay steadfast in trusting in you.
Prayer for Health
Thank you Yahweh for protecting me from every spirit of infirmity. You have given me a healthy mind and body. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. Let you healing hand be upon my life now. You have the power to heal me and shield me from any diseases, virus and germs. My trust is in you. I will allow the Holy Spirit to guide me in every area of my life. I will not fear anything in this world. My health is in your hands. My life is in your hands.
Prayer for Finances
Thank you Yahweh that you supply all of my needs. I will not worry about what I don’t have because in you I have all that I need. Help me to manage my finances and not to take for granted what I do have. I do not lack anything because you are my hope. I will not suffer financially because you are my guide. I will not experience economic collapse in my household because you are my source.
Prayer for Love (Seeking)
Thank you Yahweh that you are my first love, you know the desires of my heart for love and I believe you will bring (show) the person who is right for me. You are my perfect matchmaker. Keep all those who are not for me away from me. Let all confusing choices and distractions leave my presence. Let the one that is for me patiently wait as I patiently wait for them. I know you will order our steps to meet at the right time. I will not be anxious. All good things come from you. Let it be a person who wholeheartedly love you and follows you.
“ Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Yahshua.” Philippians 4:6-7
