Everything we see happening here in this world is the result of one thing disobedience to God. Many forget God created the world to be a certain way; sin entered and turned everything around. If people actually read their bible, they will find everything that God says will happen is still happening. God actually spoke the first curse in Genesis and it is still in effect. No matter how many like to say but the Messiah came and broke the curse. Well, this is why reading is fundamental. A perfect simple example is with Adam and Eve; God laid some serious judgment for their consequence of sin, which was disobedience. In Genesis 3:14-17 we read “The Lord God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, cursed are you above all livestock and above all beasts of the field; on your belly you shall go, and dust you shall eat all the days of your life.I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.” To the woman he said, “I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children. Your desire shall be contrary to your husband, but he shall rule over you.” And to Adam he said, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, ‘You shall not eat of it,’ cursed is the ground because of you; in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life; thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you; and you shall eat the plants of the field. By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”
These judgments and curses have not been lifted even with the death of the Messiah, no matter how many may try to argue the curse is no longer. The serpent is still crawling on its belly, women still have pain during child labor, and might I say the world seems very cursed to me. This is why I keep telling people to Draw Closer to God, spend time with God, read the bible for yourself. Some pastors won’t teach this, still don’t understand it, and may not even read it. Read the bible for yourself! So you can pay attention to the truth and know what you need to be doing. In any case, how can we get healing in the world? It’s simple, turn back to God. Until the world, not just a few individuals admit we need God and we as a whole will serve him worship him, acknowledge him, live for him, the tribulations will continue. God can heal the world if everyone would just humble themselves, repent and stop this self-destruction. “Thus Solomon finished the house of the Lord and the king’s house. All that Solomon had planned to do in the house of the Lord and in his own house he successfully accomplished. Then the Lord appeared to Solomon in the night and said to him: “I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for myself as a house of sacrifice. When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command the locust to devour the land, or send pestilence among my people, if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayer that is made in this place.2 Chronicles 7:11-15. I have no doubts God can press the reset button if we all would submit to his will. May God be with us all.
