Now we all know a person or have experienced a situation that makes it hard not to use the “Hate” word. A lot of people can really make it hard to love them, and some to the point you may even feel like you “hate” them. But what I have learnt in life and seen, the person who is doing the hating is the only one feeling the pain of it. Sometimes the person you hate has no idea that you hate them, and they are living their life, in LaLa land, while you are using your energy to exercise hate. You’re the one who is angry, upset, in discomfort, annoyed, bothered, and the person may have no idea. Moreover, they may not even care if you hate them, which makes you even angrier, but guess what, once again only you are experiencing that.
Do you know your emotions can make you physically sick? There are a lot of illness people are suffering from that is due to the lack of emotional control, and unforgiveness that is physically killing them, it’s not the food they are eating, that is just one aspect. There is a quote by Nelson Mandela, that says, “Resentment is like drinking poison and then hoping it will kill your enemies,” and you can change the word resentment to anything you are feeling, unforgiveness, bitterness, hatred, but not one of them will help you and certainly they will not cure you. You have to let it go.
We can’t control what others CHOOSE to do. I personally believe everyone knows the difference between good and bad, and whichever one someone lives by, it’s because they made the choice. Knowing this, what would it benefit you to “hate” them because of the choices they make? It’s wasted energy, your energy. Alot of people are going to be surprised when they die and realize they could have spent their energy, their soul, their life doing something better, loving, helping others, and spending time with their loves one, enjoying life, learning, instead of using their soul for evil, hatred, discord, and drama. But as always, it’s your choice, but hatred is not an answer. The world thrives on hate, and drama, it makes many people money, to gossip, fight, stir up things, the constant chaotic news, someone is always profiting from someone else’s pain. Do you want to be that someone? I encourage to stop participating in the things of this world if you are, envelope yourself with the love of God and move forward with your life. Enjoy it, enjoy your loved ones, your spouse, your children, your family, friends, be kind to a stranger, for you may be even entertaining an Angel, Hebrews 13:1-2. You might feel like you have been here forever but it’s only for a limited time and some things are simply not worth your energy or attendance. Live a life worth living!

Scripture Meditation:
Proverbs 26:24-27,” He who hates, disguises it with his lips, And lays up deceit within himself; When he speaks kindly, do not believe him, For there are seven abominations in his heart; Though his hatred is covered by deceit, His wickedness will be revealed before the assembly. Whoever digs a pit will fall into it, And he who rolls a stone will have it roll back on him.”
1 John 2:9-11, “He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now. He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.”
Leviticus 19:17, ‘’You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him.”
James 4:1-3, “Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.”
Ephesians 4:25-32, “Therefore, putting away lying, “Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another. “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil. Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need. Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.”
Titus 3:2-8, “to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men. For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through the Messiah our Savior, that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men.”
