What in the world is going on with believers? It seems like there is an increase in discord amongst one another. The church has been so divided these past few years, it’s very disgusting. It’s no wonder why many are walking away from the church, it has become a playground. I’m astonished of how many proclaim the gospel yet continuously deny the word of God and fight with another about biblical truths. What is the point of even claiming to be believer if you are going to argue about the word of God?
Nowhere in the bible, it tells us to pick and choose which scriptures we want to live by or believe. Either you are in this walk or you’re not. Either you believe the entire bible, front, middle, and back, old and new or you don’t believe it at all. In Mark 3:20-26 we see that the scribes were accusing the Messiah of casting out devils by using the devil power, the Messiah response in verse 23-26, “ So Messiah called them over to him and began to speak to them in parables: “How can Satan drive out Satan? If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. And if Satan opposes himself and is divided, he cannot stand; his end has come.”
Why are so many who call themselves believers fighting with each other about God, about the bible, arguing on behalf of people who don’t represent the kingdom of God? What part of 1 Corinthians 12:12-27, don’t we understand? “Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many. Now if the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. If they were all one part, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, but one body. The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!” On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty, while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it, so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. “
Believers are to be united, not in discord, not in division with one another. The problem is many got accustomed to “playing church” and so now their walk has become a routine, talking about “God” and mentioning his name feels and sounds good, but there is no growth, no spiritual insight, no discernment because they never truly gave their life to the Messiah. They never truly repented.
There has been a spirit of perverting the gospel for years, but it has been increasing more and more and the worst part, it’s not coming from the world, it’s coming from the church! I have concluded we are among many false converts. There is no way Holy Spirit filled believers are arguing against what the bible says amongst one another, no way. True believers don’t argue about what the word says, they encourage each other with the word, they have healthy conversations about the word, and they increase each other with the word. Proverbs 27:17 tell us “Iron Sharpens Iron, and 2 Timothy 3:16-17 tells us “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” True believers work together, and receive the word of God “As Is.” They don’t come against the word of God to benefit their preference, or to support agendas, or to support their favorite pastors. They don’t argue with each other so they can continue in their sins. There is no way, true converted believer is parading around, dancing and singing around with sin, embracing it, enjoying it, loving it, and refusing to repent of it, no way. There is no way a believer is putting all their trust in mankind rather that God for their salvation, no way.
Those causing division and discord in the Church Body are false covert’s who are strategically placed to cause many to fall away. Understand this the separation of the sheep and the goats has already started, those who are truly for God will stand strong no matter what. They will not engage with everything and everyone just because someone mentions the name of God. They will continue to use discernment and follow the direction of the Holy Spirit, Romans 8. They will have a heart of repentance and repent of their sins. They will choose to walk in the light and not in darkness. They will continue to Draw Closer to God. Those who are not for God will fall away, Matthew 13. They will follow the false preachers, teachers, and prophets. They will continue to have itching ears, 2 Timothy 4:1-4. They will continue to desire to walk the “easy, feel good” path, Matthew 7:13-24. They will continue to add & subtract the word of God to suite their desires and sins. They will continue to cause division and distraction. They will continue in their sins, and add more, 1 John 3:8. They will enjoy walking in darkness vs. the light. They will take pleasure in calling good evil and evil good, Isaiah 5:20 and by their behaviors, their fruits you shall know them.
There are many false converts infiltrating the Church Body, pay attention, and keep your eyes open, so you won’t fall into a snare along with them. Don’t allow anyone to lead you away from what you know the word of God specifically stated. Don’t allow the crowd following the wrong path to entice you to thinking they are doing the “right thing” because “everyone” is participating. Cry out to God for a spirit of discernment, because never forget Satan himself disguised himself as an angel of light, and he has a special ending that you don’t want to follow, 2 Corinthians 11:14; Genesis 3:1-24; 1 Peter 5:8; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Revelation 12:9; Revelation 20:2.
I want to encourage you to continue your walk with God, even when those around you are falling away. What is going on in the world, the church is all distractions from what is to come. God is preparing his people, and those who are caught up with the distractions won’t know what’s coming for them but those who choose to stand strong with God and his word, will make it.

Psalm 141
A psalm of David.
“I call to you, Yahweh, come quickly to me; hear me when I call to you. May my prayer be set before you like incense; may the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice. Set a guard over my mouth, O Elohim; keep watch over the door of my lips. Do not let my heart be drawn to what is evil so that I take part in wicked deeds along with those who are evildoers; do not let me eat their delicacies. Let a righteous man strike me—that is a kindness; let him rebuke me—that is oil on my head. My head will not refuse it, for my prayer will still be against the deeds of evildoers. Their rulers will be thrown down from the cliffs, and the wicked will learn that my words were well spoken. They will say, “As one plows and breaks up the earth, so our bones have been scattered at the mouth of the grave.”But my eyes are fixed on you, Sovereign Yahweh; in you I take refuge—do not give me over to death. Keep me safe from the traps set by evildoers, from the snares they have laid for me. Let the wicked fall into their own nets, while I pass by in safety.”
