Ever wonder what’s so hard about this life? I believe God had a plan (still has) for humanity but in humanity eyes they saw a different plan, and God allowed it. I personally do not question why God allow this and don’t do that, because he has given us free will and freedom of choice and in that choice, he always stands by us, whether we know it or not, Joshua 24:15; Deuteronomy 30:11-20, 1 Corinthians 6:12. Hence, we will not play the blame game because its neither God or the Devil that submit to the actions of their will but human beings. From the beginning of time humanity refuse to choose peace but chose instead destruction, hatred, chaos, war, confusion, and wickedness. This is nothing new and should not be surprising what humanity choose to do even in our lifetime. In fact, we have a playbook, so don’t let your soul be trouble. Humanity has been dabbling in insanity from some time now. Those who understand wake up and push back or stand back but those who haven’t continue to wear their perfume called insanity.
I do believe at some point in a lifetime, might not be this one, humanity will finally reach a place in peace, but many lives will be lost as a result. That lost can be in a form of spiritual, physical or mentally. The funny thing is the solution is simple, as the scripture tells us Love Your Neighbor as You Love Yourself, Mark 12:31, that is the first step to peace. Don’t treat others how you would not want to be treated. This simple step is hard for many human beings, unfortunately. Many prefer to hold on to their selfishness than to enjoy any kind of peace. To conquer selfishness, one must conquer the flesh and we have plenty of scriptures to remind us living in the flesh only cause destruction, Romans 8:5-7, Romans 7:18, Matthew 15:19, Matthew 26:41, 1 John 2:16, Romans 13: 13-14, Romans 6:12-13, Colossians 3:5-6, Galatians 6:7-8, but one of my favorite is Galatians 5:13-23, “You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other. So, I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law”.
See, we as humans have a choice, and we always had one. We think we are right about everything, when we are wrong about everything. The solution to most of the world’s problem is to first address oneself. It’s easy to point to everything and everyone and say they are the problem, but where do you play a part? Waiting for God to clean up humanity’s mess and blaming the devil for everything that goes wrong, will not address the elephant in the room.
When one has peace from within, it will be easy to be peaceful outward. The problem is you, and the solution is you, choose peace.
