It seems like everywhere you turn AI topics are in your face, “they” are pushing this new technology so fast and so much, we have no choice but to pay attention and it is succeeding. I have to admit I have been impressed with what I was able to do with even ChatGPT. I also realize with just one search I did for something normally I would have to pay a person’s service to do, that business just lost a customer, and many businesses will be affected by this. Small businesses, “Entrepreneurs”, can no longer think old ways are going to get them through this. In fact, no matter what field you are in, whether you are in business for yourself or work for an organization, somehow, somewhere you going to either have to give in to AI or be left behind, and the powers that be knows this, that is why it will succeed.
AI will be faster, smarter, and people all over the world will embrace it like a piece of their favorite candy. Businesses are going to love it because it will cut expenses and headcount tremendously, while they enjoy mouth watering profits. Others are going to love it because of the speed that they are able to complete mundane tasks, or search for information easily. No one is really worried about the “machine” taking over the world, after all, it’s still run by humans, who many hope are decent humans.
But you have to wonder, why? Why? Why All this technology? Why do so many want everything to go so fast? Why do so many desire to do nothing? I was watching a video of one company that is creating robots with just hands to cook for you in your kitchen. I couldn’t help but think to myself, so now humans don’t even want to cook anymore? When AI have taken over your house, your job, your neighborhood, what is there left for you to do? Do you really think you will just be sitting home doing nothing?
On the contrary, with all good things, comes the truth, what is being prepared for many is a future of illusion. A Utopian world just for you, where the government controls everything and technology does everything for you, while the powers that be sit and research the effects of their creation on you. It’s a prefect control technique to get all the “data” needed to have complete control. It’s a win for everyone that desires this.
But pay attention, technology can be great, but don’t let it make you forget you are still human. What makes a human feel human is being useful for something. Not to live life just browsing and doing nothing. Use your arms to do something physical, use your mind to think of something creative, don’t rely so much on technology that you become brain dead.
