“While evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.” 2 Timothy 3:13

What can we say about this interesting world we live in? Everyone has a choice to be good or to be evil and as much as we can pray for evil to go away, there will always be evil somewhere. Unfortunately, in our lifetime we will run into evil, some appearing as friends or even a mate. In addition to the random evil people roaming the earth, we can still learn to navigate the world being surrounded by them. The first thing we must learn to do is trust your first instinct about people and/or situations. We often do not want to believe when people show us their true colors, even giving second chances, even the benefit of the doubt, but God gave you an intuition for a reason and most of the time it’s given for your own protection. If something or someone does not feel right, not making sense do not force the issue, just stay away. “There is a way that seems right to a man but its end is the way to death,” Proverbs 16:25 (ESV). Trust your intuition.
Understand not everyone is your friend, for real. I know with social media some people really think all these people are their “friends,” in life you will really have 2-4 good friends and 1-2 best friends, everyone else will either fall into the category of acquaintance, business relationships, social relationships or just a random person who you meet briefly, and nothing more involving a real friendship. Therefore, it’s important not to go around just trusting everyone and seeing them as a “friend” and letting them into your private space. Not everyone is meant to be in your life at all and not just for a season. You can even have great experiences and conversations with someone, and they will be the same one to turn on you. A real, genuine friend would not ever do that. Some people are really sheeps in wolves clothing. Let people show you they are worthy of your trust and time by their actions not just their words. Some people are great pretenders to get what they want then will discard you as if you never existed. “The man of too many friends [chosen indiscriminately] will be broken in pieces and come to ruin, But there is a [true, loving] friend who [is reliable and] sticks closer than a brother, “ Proverbs 18:24 (AMP). Don’t trust blindly.
Be alert, if you haven’t notice there are more people who are demon possess rather suffering from a mental illness. We are reminded in, 1 Peter 5:8,”Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” Whether you believe it or not, there are demons in this world, they can be your relatives, friends, spouse, neighbor, politicians, your favorite celebrity. Demons exist and they are freely roaming about on the earth. You can no longer be in lala land in your mind about these spiritual truths. They exist. You need to be physically, mentally and spiritually alert about these things if you are going to avoid one. The best way to keep them away from you is to not engage, not converse with, don’t fellowship with, not support, not protect and walk in the light. Demons are not attracted to spiritual people that truly walk in the light, because you pose a threat to them. You will notice they are often people who are rageful, envious, quick to be jealous, pathological liars, quick to steal, kill and destroy, John 10:10, and their wicked behaviors towards you will expose them. People really need to recognize demons for what they are and not act like you can change them, or pray for them, they will turn on you because their spirit is already corrupt. Just like God has his people, the devil has his, get that through your head. The bible instructs us to cast out demons not to embrace them. “You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons.” 1 Corinthians 10:21. Don’t play in the devil’s playground.
I hope this helps guide you into thinking about who and what you are allowing in your life. Pray that God remove all evil people away from you and let them not even see you. Be very discerning, trusting your intuition, and knowing God will protect you and may your focus be on him more than anything. Draw Closer to God.
~Be Blessed
