Many people put their trust and faith in this world, the “system”, politicians, money, success, celebrities, and even other people, while you may feel they all have a place in your life, they are all misplaced trust and faith. Do you know often times life breakdowns were because of misplaced trust and/or faith in the very thing God told you not to do? When someone feels they have “lost themselves” because they lost a house, a car, a career, money, relationship, all of this is misplaced trust. When people feel “doom” about something, they wanted to happen, and it did not happen, that is a misplaced trust. When someone is overzealous about something, that is another form of trusting in that “thing” or “person” rather than God, all misplaced trust.

For those who called yourselves believers, what did God called you to do? And I’m not talking about finding your purpose in life. Sin entered the world because of disobedience, ignoring God’s instructions, and you guess it, misplaced trust. Satan was able to speak to Eve and get her to commit a sin against God, because she placed her trust quickly on Satan. Who or what have you placed your trust in that is going to disappoint you at the end of the day? Do you not understand you were called to live for God? To listen to God? To follow God and his ways? As believers you were called to be ye separate, 2 Corinthians 6:14-18; 2 Thessalonians 3:6; Ephesians 5:11, 1 Corinthians 15:33, 1 Timothy 3:5. As a child of God, why are you so easily conned, duped, deceived and delusional? Why do you easily trust in others and things but unable to trust God and his ways? Do you think God has a bad plan for you? When he tells us in Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares Yahweh, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Or it is that God is not on a stage so you can’t trust him like you do humankind?

Child of God look within, disappointments come from within, angry comes from within, misplaced trust, and faith comes from within, “Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that the Messiah is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test! 2 Corinthians 13:5. I promise you this is not the time you want to be on the wrong side or any side but God side, Focus on God, Seek God, Stay with God, Draw Closer to God. The world is setting up their stage and oh what a show it will be when you are one of the characters in the show. Wake up and be ye separate.
